45 miles, 4600 ft. Max elevation: 3500 ft, snow in spring
Start: Stampede Pass Rd / FS54 - I-90 Exit 62

Mile 0..3: climb 1100ft on a smooth gravel road
3..13: mix of moderate descent and small climbs on smooth gravel. This road has much less traffic compared to staying on NF54.
13..16: almost flat, smooth gravel
16..25: climb 1500ft, smooth gravel
25..27: fast descent
27: road is blocked for cars, bikes can get through. River crossing can be difficult when there's a lot of water.
27..32: mostly downhill to Easton
32..34: Cascade-to-Palouse trail, flat
34..35: through Lake Easton State Park, trails
35..41: gravel road
41..45: paved road


The second version is a bit more intense. The first and last 6 miles are on the Cascade-to-Palouse trail, so you can shorten the route by 12 miles by starting at the same spot as the other route (Stampede Pass Rd)

Start: Hyak, I-90 Exit 54

Mile 0..6: Cascade-to-Palouse trail, flat
6..12: climb 1200 ft, gravel
12..17: descend 1600 ft, gravel
17..22: climb 1700 ft, gravel. There can be some traffic here.
22..32: mix of moderate descent and small climbs on smooth gravel. This road has much less traffic compared to staying on NF54.
32..54: smooth gravel roads, lots of climbing and descending
54..62: Cascade-to-Palouse trail, flat
